I’m LD Forrest, an award-winning graphic designer and solopreneur in Houston, Texas. I provide graphic design and creative services for startups, existing brands, organizations and individuals in Houston and the surrounding areas.
I’ve had the honor of working on some of Houston’s biggest events and projects including Houston’s bid to host the 2020 Democratic National Convention, 2017 Super Bowl LI, 2016 NCAA Men’s Final Four and annual events like Comicpalooza, Texas’ largest pop culture festival. You can find my design work all over Houston — Avenida Houston, Visit Houston, George R. Brown Convention Center and at both Houston Hobby (HOU) and George Bush International (IAH) airports.
My specialties are logo/brand identity, advertising, print and web design, but with more than a decade of design experience and more than five of those years as an in-house designer, I have knowledge and advanced skill set in multiple graphic design sub-fields — branding, marketing, photography, copy writing, app (UI/UX) design, environmental, signage and wayfinding design, motion graphics and augmented reality (AR).
With an insatiable passion for all things creative, I am always learning new skills, tricks and techniques. So whether your project is part of a startup launch or an established brand with rich history, I bring an array of tools, knowledge and expertise to every project.
Whether you’re a Fortune 500, a budding non-profit, cutting edge startup or a rock and roll outfit, my mission is simple: help brands find their authentic self, connect them to their audience and wow everybody along the way.
I deliver high-quality materials, on schedule, ready to perform for your brand. I guarantee a professional experience from step one to done. Clear communication, an eye for detail and a defined roadmap to get from project-start to project-complete will help make sure we both succeed.
